You know, I’ve been putting together GameSpite Quarterly/GameSpite Journal for almost four years now, and I’m a little burnt out on it — it’s a pretty tiring process, and it demands more free time than I’ve had in quite a while. I’ve been thinking about how to deal with this reality, up to and including calling it quits altogether. Instead, I think I’m going to try using a different format: A larger, coffee book-style production. Unfortunately, Blurb doesn’t offer a black-and-white option for that size, so it would cut out the least expensive edition option, but other than that the pricing would remain about the same. But, I think it would be more fun for me to put together, which is what it’s all about in the end… right? No?

You can compare how this design looks versus the preview I posted a few weeks back, if you care. The difference is rather pronounced, I think.
I’ll probably be retooling how the site works in the new year, too.
